Columbia Foundation 2026 Community Impact Fund
The Columbia Foundation, Inc. is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as a 501(c)(3). The Foundation’s Community Impact Fund (CIF) supports charitable organizations that are delivering critical services to populations in need within the District of Columbia, suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia.
The Foundation ensures that each CIF application is considered on an objective and nondiscriminatory basis. More information about the Foundation, its mission and its statement of values can be found on the Foundation’s website: https://www.thecolumbia.foundation.
For 2026, CIF grant consideration will be focused on organizations that deliver needs-based services in one or more of the following categories:
1. Health & Wellness - Improving the mental health and/or physical well-being of adults and children, including persons with disabilities.
2. Family & Child Welfare - Enhancing the lives of families and expanding opportunities for children to thrive, including addressing food insecurity; other material needs; parenting support; and afterschool enrichment.
3. Housing - Supporting access to shelter for individuals in challenged circumstances.
